Miniature collection is a bold gesture to show that the work has reached the collector’s items status. Vitra launched its collection of classic chair miniature a few years ago, fulfilling designer furniture lovers who could not process the designs in full scale. Alessi is following suit and launching its own miniature collection this year. Their classic 1960’s designs will be the first to launch, the collection includes ‘Bombe’ tea set by Carlo Alessi in 1945 and ‘Kettle’ by Graces Michael. The appearance, structure and proportion of every piece is manufactured according to the original design. ‘Miniatures of Alessi Classics’ collection is truly one not to be missed by Alessi and miniature (or both) lovers.
