In the tranquil corner of Causeway Bay, the sun shimmers through window pane onto the stone wall. You would be mistaken to think that this is a gallery, for it is the Hong Kong Flagship Store of top refrigerant system SUB-ZERO.
The entire interior is made with natural material: platform flooring with volcano rock, hand-sculpted stone wall and oak cabinet. The six seamless oak cabinets are created specially for SUB-ZERO. With a hidden body which spins 180 degrees with a hit on the button to show the relevant SUB-ZERO model, this showroom system is an experience combining nature with hi-tech.
SUB-ZERO is a refrigerant system with a history of over 60 years. It started with a shop the size of a small garage, developing over the years to become the refrigerant pioneer today. Investigating refrigerant technique from the 1950s, SUB-ZERO has reinvented the kitchen of tomorrow. Sandwiching refrigerant system seamlessly between counter and kitchen cabinet, the system simultaneously maintains fresh and frozen items. Each SUB-ZERO is painstakingly hand-fitted in the U.S., each model with difference sizes to fit into different kitchen interior. Model ‘Pro 48′ is the largest domestic refrigerator in the current market, with a total volume of 844 liter. The volume is adequate for as many as 147 bottles, completed with two separate hermetic compartments controlled by electronic meter to maintain its temperature and humidity, as well as protecting its content from UV rays. Delicately designed shelves are trimmed with Cherry wood, to avoid bottles from any unwanted movements. The compressor operates in silence, avoiding any movements from affecting the content in the wine cabinet.
