NIKE SPORTSWEAR HK
&「ICONOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION」FEATURING KEIICHI NITTA, SATOMI MIZUUCHI & SILLY THING

August 2008, 21 Mercer Street, New York; October 2008, Cat Street, Harajuku, Tokyo; 25 October 2008, Pak Sha Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, the launch of the third ‘Nike Sportswear Store’ worldwide. The store is stocking the high-end ‘NSW’ collection under Nike Sportswear, developed and designed in Japan, includes eight innovative technology pieces such as Air Force 1, Winddrunner, AW 77 Hoody, Nike Dunk, Air Max 90, Eugene Track Jacket, Cortez and NSW Tee.

To celebrate the opening of the Pak Sha Road store, Nike has invited three creative practitioners (from Japan and Hong Kong) to participate in the ‘iconoGRAPHIC’ exhibition. It will be held throughout the first week of the opening, between 25th October to 2nd November. Keiichi Nitta, the well known Japanese photographer, is showing a series of photography based on four young Hong Kong athletes. Satomi Mizuuchi, known for her fine embroidery and an illustrator, is said to be trying something new this time.

Multi-media creative SILLY THING is reinterpreting the concept of Nike Sportswear in an animation format, mixing art, sports culture and Hong Kong style in this new store.
