‘Loggia’ is a part of a small town and a space for one to breathe. It is also the name of fashion designer Agnès b.’s holiday home in Antibes (between Canne and Nice in France). She has also set the same name upon the recently launched Hong Kong store ‘agnès b. LA LOGGIA’.
Over 15,000 square feet, a tour in LA LOGGIA is like visiting a holiday home, composed of numerous rooms with owners of varied styles. HOMME & FEMME (fashion), SPORT b., VOYAGE, BIJOUX (accessories), fleuriste, la Maison sur l’eau (concept travel store), le pain grille (restaurant) and DÈLICES (chocolatetier). ‘Loggia’ is an Italian architecture concept, with elements like arches and columns used in many galleries, aligning the departments. A traditional French garden architecture, it unwraps a slice of blue sky and secret garden within the otherwise commercial building. Agnès b. is known to have placed a secret of hers in the glamorous restaurant — would that portrait of a stunning lady be her father’s lover?
