We can’t help but to ‘advance’ some excitement for the arts festival here, even the event is not starting until 6th February 2009. Prepare for this year’s performers from 37 countries and over 150 programmes including Chicago Symphony Orchestra, ‘Pygmalion’ produced by the well respected Peter Hall, ‘Metamorphosis’ by Icelandic Vesturport Theatre and ‘Alice in the Wonderland’ by The English National Ballet.

The Hong Kong Arts Festival also commissioned and produced various programmes, such as ‘Murder in San José’ (written by Chong Mui-ngam and produced by Lee Chun-chow) and ‘The White Body’ by French Vietnamese chorographer Ea Sola. Tickets for the 37th Hong Kong Arts Festival are on sale from 6th December 2008.
