BUGATTI VEYRON FBG PAR HERMES IN HK
NEW STANDARD OF LUXURY

Ettore Burgatti was introduced to Émile Hermès when he ordered a custom-made case for his Bugatti Royale in the 1920s. After 80 years, Hermès and Bugatti are joining forces. Namely ‘Bugatti Veyron Fbg par Hermès’, it is a project that combines the finest craftsmanship of Hermès and precise engineering of Molsheim.

Bugatti Veyron 16.4 combines the most precise race car techniques and the most comfortable navigation experience. Its maximum speed reaches 407km and with 4 turbo chargers and 64 valves, the car produces 1,001 HP at 6,000 rpm. The engine draws on its 8-liter displacement to deliver a maximum torque of 1,250 Newton-meters between 2,200 and 5,500 rpm. With full-time all-wheel drive, the car boosts acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds only. With the most advanced aeronautical and aerospace technology, making it the fastest production car ever. Its braking system is also the strongest-ever deceleration system, establishing a new industry benchmark.

The carbon fiber discs provide brake pressure of up to 180 bars, combining eight-piston monobloc callipers and titanium pistons fitted with steel head and ceramic heat protectors. At speed above 200km/h, the rear wing acts as an airbrake and positions itself at an angel of 113 degrees in less than 0.4 seconds. The airbrake increases negative lift at the rear of the car to 300kg, enhancing the braking torque on the rear axle. At 400km/h, the emergency brake will bring the car to a halt within 10 seconds. The car rises above the limit of physical engineering.
Based on Bugatti Veyron 16.4, Hermès and designer Gabriele Pezzini labored much on its interior and exterior design to give birth to the design for Bugatti Veyron Fbg Par Hermès. ‘Fbg’ stands for Faubourg Saint-Honorè, the Hermès flagship store in Paris which stands for its authentic history. Gabriele Pezzini reinterpreted the two-tone signature of traditional Bugatti, extending the same shade to the interior which appears again at its rear. The interior of Bugatti Veyron Feg Par Hermès is created by the Hermès workshop, with none other than the finest bull-calf, a tradition of Bugatti since its first model. Traditionally in brushed aluminium, the dashboard is covered by a whole piece of calf skin. The two drawers are also adjusted to allow room for travel goodies and a zipped Hermès wallet.
Both seats are covered with two-tone calf skin and the glovebox is now also covered with finest leather instead of carbon fiber. The trunk is fitted with the exclusive Hermès ‘Toile H’ and leather case.

Bugatti Veyron Fbg Par Hermès is a tribute to the 1924 Bugatti Type 35, the most famous Bugatti race car in history. The central butterfly wheel locks branded with letter ‘H’; Hermès signature saddle stitching on air vents around the rims; The horseshoe radiator grille and the lateral ventilation grilles flanking it, are made from lightweight alloys with a design of interlocking H’s, evoking the Hermès ‘signature’.
