Jun Takahashi is leading UNDER COVER to the next level this season. Discarding the runway, Takahashi is adopting a gallery-like presentation instead. ‘Grace’ serves as another demonstration of his fresh new aesthetic.

UNDER COVER regularly collaborated with photographer Mr. Yoshie Tominaga. After his retirement, Yoshie’s junior Katsuhide Morimoto stepped up for the challenge. Morimoto works frequently with N.Hoolywood, before joining the UNDER COVER team to produce the dream world named ‘Grace’. Bird puppets in various shapes and sizes, as appeared in ‘A Magazine’, are the characters of choice. Over fifty of them, from six meters high down to ten centimeters in height, were shot in the otherworldly Nagano, Japan. ‘Each photo has to be made like a scene of a film…’ Takahashi firmly stated. Theatrical and sculpted with time, the overwhelming images interpret the latest UNDER COVER collection and blur the line between fashion and art.

‘Grace’ is limited to 1,500 edition only, each stamped with individual code.
