Creative duo ‘Charles & Marie’ collects inspirations on their journeys around the world, which they then utilize on numerous collaborations with designers. The high profile duo is constantly in the fashion limelight. After the ‘Inside out Liquor Glasses’ by Alissia Melka-Teichroew, THINK SILLY STORE is introducing more simple yet playful designs.
Apart from the recyclable Louis Vuitton canvas shopping bag, the diamond series by Alissia is also a highlight this time. Made in acrylic (mostly seen in advertising and furniture pieces), the pieces are cut into simple diamond shapes and available in various sizes. The vintage style hand mirror ‘Me-Ror’ is a dream item for many. In the vintage elegant world, one does not struggle to powder one’s nose in a crowded bathroom. Poised and sophisticated, the ‘Me-Ror’ is begging for the question ‘Who is the fairest of them all?’
Charles & Marie also discovered New Zealand designer Phil Cuttance in Milan, whose Animal Trophy hangers already won many praises in New York and Europe. Always in a pair, the hangers are shaped like animal with heads and tails intact. Less scary and more cute, the Animal Trophies are a humourous version of their origins.
