YOHJI YAMAMOTO FOR HERMÈS
THE ONE-OFF YOHJI BAG
Ever since Hermès hinted at a collaboration with Yohji Yamamoto at the A/W2008 Paris fashion shows, ‘The Yohji Bag’ has became a much anticipated item. It is only now, in 2010, that it finally materializes and is available in Hong Kong.
A one-off collaboration item, The Yohji Bag is designed by Mr. Yamamoto and manufactured by Hermès Workshops. Made in Barenia leather (the significant Hermès material), its simple and modern shape makes the bag a rather stylish laptop bag or suitcase. Three sizes are available (35cm, 38cm and 41cm), coming with a HK$40,000 price tag. It is confirmed that the crocodile version as appeared in Yohji Yamamoto catwalk was only a showpiece, what a pity!
