A ‘Voyage d’Hermès’ can only be luxurious — in reality, it is a beautiful scent that inspires an indulging holiday with the special someone.
Voyage d’Hermès is inspired by a romantic encounter. Perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena wanted something related to ‘Journey’, and explored the possibilities. Ellena wanted to find a mysterious smell that has not been materialized, and came up with the unisex and woody Voyage d’Hermès with a hidden fresh musky note.
The bottle is also a tribute to journeys. The challenge is to create a turn-able bottle for Voyage d’Hermès, inspired by pocket size magnifying glass. It would turn on with a Hermès saddle tack as its axis, elegant and subtle. Such a refined object cannot be disposable — designer Philippe Mouquet decided to make this bottle to be refillable. Voyage d’Hermès is made for those who are passionate about journeys, one to be kept and cherished.
