RALPH LAUREN
ARRIVING IN PARIS SAINT GERMAIN

With forty seven years of history under its belt, Ralph Lauren is now a household brand name with a new flagship store opening in Paris. Situated on Boulevard Saint Germain, it is the American label’s largest flagship store in Europe. The 23,000 square foot store showcases a full range of men’s and women’s collections, accessories, watches as well as Ralph’s restaurant.

The Saint Germain store is located in the 16th century Hôtel Particulier — the facade features classical French architecture in lime stone with rich carving and ornaments. The interior is in Rococo style, complete with ‘Versaille’ style parquet flooring, plaster moulding and carvings. Through the arcade is an interior courtyard — originally stables for carriages and horses, now becomes the restaurant. The whole interior and re-consturction is well thought-through, with help from professional consultants.

Ralph Lauren attended the opening, celebrated with the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Isabelle Huppert, Michelle Yeoh and Du Juan. The new flagship store represents the label’s significant presence in Europe. ‘I wanted to create a unique environment that captures the glamour, culture and the artistic spirit of the Paris that I have fallen in love with. Now, with this store opening, in the most romantic part of the city, I finally feel I have been able to tell my whole story in Paris.’ said Ralph Lauren.
