Themed ‘Tales to be Told’, the Hermès 2010 collection is built around fairy tales. Dreamy as it seems, Hermès is reinterpreting classic items this season. The obvious highlight is Silkycity Bag made in the finest leather and silk — signatures of the French luxury brand.
The adjustable silk scarf-strap is held into place with a leather belt, not unlike a light weight tote bag. Following the limited edition tiger emblem launched in Chinese new year, the Silkcity series includes silk art work ‘Kelly En Perles’ (a composition actualized with colourful glass beads) created by artists from Republic of Cameroon in1997, as well as an re-interpretation of the best selling ‘Brides De Gala’ silk twilly scarf. The Hermès S/S2010 collection is all about reinterpreting classic aesthetic into a modern day vision.
