GERALD GENTA OCTO BI-RETRO STEEL CERAMIC
Bvlgari has been investing in its luxury watches development for the past decade. The luxury house has developed the exclusive Calibre 168, and incorporated with Manufacture du Sentier Daniel Roth & Gérald Genta in Joux Valley (Switzerland) this year. It is not a surprise that Bvlgari now has its hand on many high-end mechanic techniques. The Octo Bi-Retro Steel Ceramic in Gérald Genta series is recently awarded 2010 ‘Watch of the Year’ prize by renowned Swiss luxury watch publication ‘Montre Passion’.
Octo Bi-Retro Steel Ceramic is fitted with the manufacturer’s very own Calibre GG 7722 automatic calibre. Its octagon-shaped steel case is paired with ceramic bezel, decorated with studs and rounded onyx on crown; hour window is shown at the ‘12 o’clock’ position, paired with an arched minute indicator at 210 degree; with ten minutes as a grid, the arched minute indicator is completed with anti-clockwise second dial; the retrograde date is adopted in its 180 degree half-circle shape, echoing the top half; round bezel and seven matt-finish studs with black rubber straps. In short, Octo Bi-Retro Steel Ceramic embodies purity with a sporty twist.
The Daniel Roth and Gérald Genta series are officially embossed with Bvlgari as of this year. Combining the creativity and advance technology of the labels, the result is bound to be a bright new chapter.
