As eco-awareness being on the rise in recent years, the timeless tote bag has become our everyday item. Teddyfish, founded in Paris this spring, share the same pressing concern as well as a passion for craftsmanship. They aim to portray a beauty that, through time, becomes even more of its own.
Each canvas tote bag in the Teddyfish main collection is stamped with a classic ‘Teddyfish’ emblem. Available in six different sizes and models including messenger bag, carry all, rucksack and shoulder bag, they are all made in highly durable white canvas. Seams are fixed in place with studs; functional leather accessories are added; compartment in functional sizes are excellent for keeping your bag organised; shoulder straps are adjustable. Teddyfish is rid of unnecessary ‘frills’, its simplicity is key. Each bag is hand-painted in the bottom, in mango yellow, ether blue or city grey, and marked with its unique code. For those who like a twist, there is also a hand-painted ‘tie-dye’ effect model. The vivid red ‘TF’ buttons is another rather eye-catching feature.
Teddyfish online store will be made available from 1st November 2010. The next highlight will be a tribute to classic French short film ‘Le Ballon Rouge’ directed by Albert Lamorisse in 1956.
