THE FIRST SYMBIAN^3 SMARTPHONE
Nokia has been developing Symbian in recent years. Its third generation, Symbian^3, offers over 250 new functions. Its flagship model N8, an excellent combination of the label’s hard-and-software, is now officially launched.
The sterling aluminium case is completed with 3.5 inches screen and merely 12.9mm thick; battery charge automatically by connection; its weight is kept to its minimum. Its camera function is one of the highlights, completed with 12 megapixel CCD component, 28mm Carl Zeiss lenses and Xenon flash. Look through proximity sensor and coordinate with hand movement, focal length is easily shifted in order to achieve high quality images and HD videos. The HDMI port helps transmit videos to home screen instantly; compatible with 5.1 digital Dolby surround sound, its various specifications make an extremely user-friendly unit.
There are three main pages on Symbian^3, assisting its users to manage and select files as well as applications. Completed with touchscreen and compatible with television for watching HD short films, the model operates smoothly even when it is ‘multi-tasking’. With instant access to social networks such as Facebook and Twitter, the internet is only a click away. Ovi, the official Nokia online store, offers many applications for downloading, and encourages the users to create their own personalized multi-media mobiles. Nokia N8 is on sale now and available in silver, black, blue, green and orange.
