N. HOOLYWOOD × SILLY THING CAPSULE COLLECTION
Following the extremely well received WTAPS collaboration camera strap and SILLY BAPE THING collection, SILLY THING is announcing its latest collaboration with N. Hoolywood – a capsule collection titled “Homage to 221B”.
N. Hoolywood’s Daisuke Obana and SILLY THING’s TK take Sherlock Holmes as their inspiration, to create a collection based on ‘turning 19th Century attire into modern daily wear’. Holmes calls for an English aesthetic, the items include functional jacket in Gun Club check, with poncho-like front. Made in chemical fibers instead of 100% wool, it is a revamp from design to material; a lightweight down waistcoat which makes a great layering item, with vintage-inspired detailing; a digital camera case for the modern day detective, paired with WWI opening detail; loose-fit Inner or below-the-knee socks to be worn with shorts; Holmes’ hat is transformed into a ‘3 Way Beanie’. The title of this collection, Homage to 221B, is made up of Holmes’ house number.
Homage to 221B is now available at N. Hoolywood Tokyo store and Isetan Men’s section, and in Think Silly Store Hong Kong from this Saturday.
