NEW BALANCE
UNITED HEROES RUN FOR CHARITY
New Balance is announcing its charity marathon ‘United Heroes’ in 2011 — calling for runners in the five Asian regions, with ‘Moving Moves Lives’ as its statement.
Hong Kong, China, Korea, Singapore and Taiwan are the participating regions. With 100,000km as target, the total miles of the runners will be turned into a donation sum. Hong Kong runners are to register on ‘United Heroes’ website, and fill in relevant information (the races are required to be recognise by The Hong Kong Amateur Athletic Association, and take place between 1 January to 31 March 2011). The final amount will be donated by New Balance Hong Kong.
The two highest scorers and the participant who recommends the biggest group will join representatives of other Asian regions at the ‘New Balance Reach the Beach Relay’ in September 2011 in Boston. The sponsored trip also includes a visit to the New Balance head quarter. A lucky draw will take place every week, handing out gifts (including the latest New Balance trainers and limited edition T-Shirt) to registered United Heroes runners.
