Since ‘Avakareta Life’ collection last year, Jun Takahashi is returning to a simplistic approach. ‘Underman’, the latest collection available at Undercover HKG, is also about functionality and everyday life. Taking everyday objects as inspirations, the collection is composed of a book-like clutch bag, kitten-print pouch bag and other eye-catching accessories. Other highlights include print T-shirt and jacket, distressed canvas shoulder bag and trousers with two fronts.

‘Underman’ is also the name of their latest special project, another platform for Takahashi’s creativity. The lookbook is shot in short film format: set in 20XX year, human souls are conquered by dark force. Underman, the Undercover character, comes along to save the human race. The story is not directly related to the concept of the designs, but it shapes the character’s clothing and accessories. The photography is now printed as a single volume and available to buy in Undercover store.
