Following March unfolding spring and summer season in fashion, THINK SILLY has many surprises in store – Mihara Yasuhiro × Chapel of Dawn half zip leopard sneakers made a special debut of the season. Mihara Yasuhiro is founded in 1996 – with shoe craftsmanship background, the designer pioneered the much talked-about technical wonder ‘half sneakers’.

The design of this collaboration derives from personal preferences of Chaper of Dawn’s Juno and Mihara Yasuhiro. Yasuhiro is also responsible for product development and manufacturing. The design takes shape over one year, and made in Mihara Yasuhiro signature duo-material. Keeping the original zip detail, the back half of the shoe is wrapped with horsehair; the front half is made in toweling material, with tie-dye leopard print effect. It is then mixed with a special re-enforcing ingredient to hold the shoe in shape. Available at THINK SILLY Store from 3 March 2011 (Thu), in contrasting shades of brown and dark grey.
