Porter father-and-son founders Katsuyuki Yoshida and leo Yoshida has designed the renowned Porter Tanker bag. Since the label’s launch, it has been much celebrated. Its SS2011 collection takes American denim wear as inspiration — made in Amoskeag Manufacturing Company vintage denim fabric, the designs are inspired by retro work wear.
Patch work is featured throughout the collection — loose cut trousers, vest, jacket, overall, bag and other items. The mish mash of denim, canvas and check fabric accentuates the durable quality of denim fabric; collar and sleeve seams are finished with various fabric; white button and signature Porter portrait zipper are highlighting details.
