Cuppa Café, the first filter coffee brand in Hong Kong, offers disposable paper filter and capsules as an accessible, convenient and high standard option.
Perhaps unusual for instant coffee, its coffee bean is carefully selected and imported from Jamaica, Brazil, Columbia, Mexico and Hawaii. Roasting, grinding and packaging procedures take place locally in Hong Kong; no preservative is added. The coffee is prepared only after orders are placed, and delivered three days later. The product is recommended to be consumed within three months. The instruction is simple: put filter on top of a mug and add boiling water. A fantastic cup of fresh coffee is then ready in two minutes. Four flavours are currently available — mocha, mandheling, java and a special blend made with five varieties of coffee beans, with more excellent flavours to be added soon.
Cuppa Café also actively promotes coffee culture, its free online magazine ‘Coffree’ is filled with news, interviews, reviews, recipes and features on international café. The cover story of its latest issue 002 is ‘outstanding authentic café in Paris’.
