Mirrorless Interchangeable-Lens has been attracting extensive interest. With Pentax launching Pentax Q (its smallest model yet), other companies are also quick to follow suit. Olympus focuses on improving the focus speed with latest model E-P3.
The latest 12.3 Megapixel MOS sensor, upgraded TruePic VI image processor and two new generation MSC (Movie and Still Compatible) lenses (M.ZUIKO DIGITAL 14-42mm F3.5-5.6ⅡR 及 M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 40-150mm f/4-5.6 R) improving focus speed and shortening camera reaction time. E-P3 is also the first camera in the series to be integrated with a AF assist lamp and FAST (Frequency Acceleration Sensor Technology), meaning the system automatically snaps into focus even before the shutter is half pressed.
With a classic PEN appearance and shelled in full metal case, the camera comes with changeable handles. Ten different Art Filters offer variations of the same image, and can be used for filming HD movies also.
