Japanese actor Jun Murakami and Shunsuke Matsuoka founded linen-centric clothing label Shantii a decade ago. The outdoor aesthetic and signature loose fit Thai pants attracted much fanfare. A decade on, Shunsuke Matsuoka has established a brand new clothing label, inheriting the style of Shantii and mixing ethnic with outdoor elements. With linen as the main material, adding a mish-mash of colourful shades (as seen on the shoulder bag). The Autumn/Winter collection is substantial, such as long knitted sock and down vest which are excellent for keeping warm in outdoor weather. Asymmetric jacket, raglan tee and worker pants are cut with unique touch; apron kilt and Thai pants are not unlike those seen in Japanese comic ‘One Piece’. The latest Mash collection will be landing in Undercover Hong Kong Store soon, as its first non-Undercover clothing label in stock.
