Founded in 2009, British label Bunney has been producing pieces in workshops around England, including the historic Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham. Adopting strong British sensibilities, founder Andrew Bunney also worked as Product Consultant and Creative Director for several well-known brands, as well as a honeyee.com blogger and a regular contributor for “Obscura”.
Enlisting ex-Royal Warrant silversmiths of the British Royal Family, each handmade piece is produced by traditional British methods. With strong punk elements, these minimal angular and circular designs stem from Andrew Bunney’s aim to “give freedom to the wearer.” After the production process, each piece is then sent to the Goldsmith’s Company to be hallmarked, who is responsible for testing the quality of gold and silver since 1300. The final product will be ready once it is stamped with the brand’s motifs. The latest collection is now available through THINK SILLY Store.
