McIntosh was founded by Frank H. McIntosh in 1949, derived from Binghamton (New York). Considered as the original manufacturer of vacuum tube and known for handmade high-end audio parts. Its history and pioneering track record keep the company an innovator all these years. Its Power Level Meters calculate and display accurate data in real time, shown on signature sky blue meter lighting. The backlit back glass front panel is handmade in a eight-step-production — durable, smooth and oxidisation-proof. The logo placed on each product is screen printed thirteen times, to avoid discolouring and blurring. The devil is certainly in the detail.
To celebrate the brand’s sixtieth anniversary, MCLK12 clock –- a tribute to the classic McIntosh design — is launched for the occasion. 24cm x 44.5cm in size, with blue meter lighting on both sides displaying hour and minutes (shown by two hands to cover separate arcs), the user friendly clock is simply operated with two buttons.
