An elegant and classy tea room environment is created by coupling classical decorations of golden yellow and dark brown wooden base tones with glass walls and crystal lamps. TWG Tea is a Singapore tea brand that was established in 2007. Since the establishment of their first Tea Salon & Boutique in Singapore in 2008, the tea brand continues to open branches in New York, London and Tokyo, and it has just landed at IFC in Hong Kong last December. TWG offers more than 450 types of teas harvested and imported from all around the world, and they can generally be grouped into Western, Chinese and special flavored teas. The tea ordered in the tea room is prepared by tea-making experts, served in an 18K gold teapot; while cold drinks are served in long crystal glasses. The tea room also provides tea- infused delicacies, filling the place with an aroma of tea. One of the walls inside the tea room is designed as a tall tea cabinet, filled with yellow tea caddies that contain a variety of teas. The year of 1837 can be spotted on their brand label, representing the year when the tea trade was initiated in Singapore. Moreover, a large collection of tea bags and tea sets is also available in the tea room, on top of a variety of tea- infused desserts.
