After the accomplishment of Tokyo Japan’s first exhibition tour, the second stop in New York and the third stop in Taiwan have also successfully completed, and Hong Kong: “The Little Black Jacket: CHANEL’s classic revisited by Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld” fourth exhibition, has finally launched on the 7TH July. Chanel has held a pompous launch party the night before at The Space, the exhibition venue in Central, other than inviting celebrities that are actively appearing in the fashion world, in addition they invited the four models of the exhibition: Italian model Elisa Sednaoui, French actress Cecile Cassel, artist Yi Zhou, famous movie star Tang Wei, attended the party and showed support to the exhibition.
The two-storey exhibition venue with black reveals and gates matching with white-toned interior, matched utterly with the classic black and white colors of Chanel. A gigantic picture from the exhibition is hanged on the wall on the right side of the entrance yet the wall of the stairways to the second storey was filled with pictures that are negative-formatted, forming an effect of sharp contrast. The second storey was divided into two exhibiting spaces, with the little black jacket perfectly matched with each unique faces, through the lens of Karl Lagerfeld with vertical and different sized picture formats, presenting 113 pictures of the timeless classic.
