This year is the 30th anniversary of Nike Air Force 1’s establishment, Nike specially launch the world’s limited-edition DSM AF1 series in cooperation with the Dover Street Market from England, created by applying Ventile, a waterproof yet breathable fabric . Ventile was made in Manchester back in 1948, it is provided with natural waterproof, fire resistance and windproof, high flexibility and was originally used in producing waterproof clothing. Using this flexible material reduces the pieces of cloth required on the upper, coupled with an innovative cushioning outsole, making it lighter on both appearance and fitting. The Tyvek-made tongue tab is marked with 17-18, representing the street number of Comme des Garcons London Dover Street Market. DSM AF1 is available in navy blue and white, first launch on 20th of July in Ginza Tokyo and Dover Street Market on the 28th July. DSM AF1 will also be available in selected stores in Hong Kong on 1st September.
